The Royal Opera - TURANDOT
I woke up in the middle of the night, found out a good news and a bad news. The good news gave me a sense of relief, the bad news makes me real sad. Anyhow, as I am not going out with my friends today, I slept till 1pm or 2pm, when my gastric strikes again. Sitting in my room for the whole afternoon, realised that sometimes, "things" happened, and it is out of our control. There are so lot of things in this world, so lot of things that are going to happen, whereby all those things are seem to be so predictable, yet so out of our control... (Hmm... seems like too complicated, I guess some of you might think this is crap =.=" ) But anyway, I just think it is time for me to let go everything, not to think anything anymore. I would not have cared about the past because I could not change it; I would not have cared about the future because it is predictable but uncontrollable; I would just care about the present, about myself, not others, not anymore. Until the day I meet them again, my family, my friends, I will continue being the one who cares again (~CRAP~)
I sat, I chat, until 6pm. My buddy came back from Wirral, and asked me to get ready for the opera show we are going to watch. This is an event called "BP summer big screens". We have to go to Clayton Square, Liverpool (somewhere not far from where I stay) for this free ballet and opera, broadcast live from the Royal Opera House to Big Screens around UK. The title of this opera is "Turandot". The story takes place in legendary ancient China, in Peking. A cold-hearted princess, Turandot, have to married and prepared to rule the kingdom because of her weak and old father's will. She has sworn once that no man shall possess her, and she offered a chance to her suitors : if one of them is capable to answer her riddles, then she will marry him. If he fails, he must die. A prince falls in love with her, and solves her riddles. He wins her hand, but he wants also to win her heart. He gives her a chance to defeat him, as she does not know his name : if she can discover his identity before dawn, he will die. So, what happened in the end? (If interested to know the ending, again, ask me for the answer, LOL~)

It was a very cold night, and I am sitting outdoor, with my friends, and whole bunch of old, opera lovers. =.=" Though it is just a screen and some of my friends left in the middle of the show, I sat till the end of the show.

Ya'll might think I am sick, or a bit crazy, but it is a fascinating opera show! (though it was kinda weird watching British acting as Chinese =.=" ) But, it was such a nice show, with a very strong orchestra band, and great vocals of their main actors and actresses. Indescribable feelings, I could just say, BRAVO~!! These are few lines that I liked from the show: (though I think it sounds funny when the characters presented these lines)
"Her fragrance fills the air, it fills my soul"
"Such love, secret and unconfessed, makes the tortures sweet"
"I hated you for that... for that I loved you"
